Ranbanka Palace is one of the most beautiful palace hotels in Jodhpur. The wonderful architecture of the hotel is spectacular. We had booked Ranbanka for two nights during our stay in Jodhpur, and this was the best part of our entire Rajasthan trip.

We reached the hotel around 11am and were greeted with a warm smile by the staffs. We were startled by the beauty of the hotel. It looks like a grand palace from outside and from inside, it looks amazing. The hotel complex has a wonderful garden, fountain, restaurants, swimming pool, spa and a lot more.
We were directed to our Super Deluxe Room. The heritage of the hotel was reflected in the room. The as artwork on the walls, the paintings, and everything else looked so good. The room had all luxurious amenities along with a modern bathroom and a private balcony overlooking the main hotel complex.

We settled for lunch after our check-in. We had ordered Fish Tikka, Lal Maas and Garlic Naan. The food was impeccable. The fish was well grilled and very soft. The mutton was juicy and went well with the naan. For dessert, we tried Ghewar which is a Rajasthani speciality with kheer. Mr Ranjeet Singh Soda had assisted us at the restaurant with the choice of dishes and he was great at his job.

Post our lunch, we explored the hotel. It is a huge property and it took us quite some time to visit every corner of the hotel. We clicked multiple pictures in the hotel complex and every corner was really picturesque.

During evening the hotel had arranged for a puppet show along with folk dance. We really enjoyed the Rajasthani cultural program. We enjoyed a beautiful candle light dinner where we had Galawti Kebab, Chicken Curry and Jeera Rice. It was an unparalleled experience over great food, music, the beautiful ambience and the warm hospitality of the staffs. We still cherish every moment of that evening.

The next day we had our breakfast by the pool. There were a variety of options to choose from – omlette, parathas, breads, dosa, sabzi and a lot more. We loved our breakfast by the pool while we enjoyed the grand spread.

We came for lunch after the city tour and decided to settle for the buffet. The lunch buffet had a lot of options like grilled chicken, rice, dal, papad, paneer, mixed veg, etc. During the evening, we enjoyed the cultural program. The dinner buffet was equally good. I loved the jalebi counter where crisp, hot and juicy jalebis were made on spot. I absolutely enjoyed the meal.
Finally it was time to leave. Ranbanka Palace gave us memories which will be etched in our hearts forever. We loved every part of our stay at this hotel and we would be back here the next time we visit Jodhpur 🙂
