Port Muziris, Kochi !

Port Muziris!! Well I’ve always had the desire of staying at a luxurious boutique hotel which gives me the vintage charm of the city yet provides me with ultimate luxury. Nothing could be better than Port Muziris, Kochi. Situated just 5 mins from the airport this boutique hotel is a stunning beauty.

We checked in around 11 am in the morning (early check in) and were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink. The hospitality of the staff is the first thing that you will notice once you reach this place.

Headed towards our room which was a suite room with a breathtaking view of the kochi City and what was more interesting was the beautiful graphics on the walls with intricate designs which weaved a story! The suite room is spacious, with a bedroom, two bathrooms with a bathtub and having all the basic facilities of wifi, TV and another sitting room, which is perfect for office-workers like us to enjoy while even being on a workcation. I decided to explore the other parts of the property and the first thing that caught my eye was the luxurious gym which had fantastic equipments and the absolutely breathtaking infinity pool with surreal views of the city.

Shortly after this we headed for lunch at the Lila restaurant and tried the Vishu special Sadya! Absolutely authentic Kerala style thali exactly what i wanted. Not only are the cuisines here delectable but they give you the exact local touch that you would want!

I couldn’t stop myself from jumping into the pool and my mother even enjoyed the most here! We three had a blast at the pool! The drizzle in the kochi weather made this experience just impeccable. Evening was all about basking in the beauty of this property and exploring every corner of this place. Right from the stairs to the rooms you would find beautiful graphitti!

For dinner, since it was Subham’s birthday we had a very special candle light dinner. We tried Tomato Shorba, Banana Kebabs, Meen Moilee with Appam and Chicken Biryani. We loved the food. The entire setup was magical with candels and flowers, you can customise according to your needs and they will arrange it perfectly the way you want.
